Anti-dumping Investigation against Stainless Steel Pipe from Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia

The U.S. Department of Commerce recently carried out anti-dumping research against welded stainless steel pressure pipe from Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. This is the 3rd time America launched Anti-dumping cases on steel products against above countries since 2011.
On May this year, U.S. steel companies Bristol Metals LLC, Felker Brothers Corp, and Outokumpu Stainless Pipe, Inc submitted the application, claiming the dumping rate has reahced 89.4%-90.8%, 23.77%-24.01% and 22.67-22.73% respectively from the above mentioned countries.
Acccoding to the data presented by American Mininstry Commerce, the imported value of stainless steel pipes in connection with this investigation from these 3 countries are $18,000,000, $22,900,000 and $18,600,000
The U.S. International Trade Commission will announce the initial arbitration on 1st July. If it comes out to be active, then the anti-dumping policy will be carried out on Oct.
